The Muriwai Environmental Trust is proud to welcome Barfoot & Thompson as the official Sponsor of the 2.5km Family Run/Walk at the 2025 Muriwai Half Marathon.

Barfoot & Thompson has a long history of supporting Auckland communities and major running events, including their role as Title Partner of the Auckland Marathon. Their backing of the Muriwai Half Marathon strengthens our shared commitment to community wellbeing and conservation.

Funds raised through the event will support predator control and ecological restoration in Goldie Bush Scenic Reserve — supporting MET’s bold vision: to return kiwi to the forests of the Muriwai area.
